This joint Call for Speakers gives leaders from across the data center and power industries one simple place to propose real-world case studies, lessons learned, and practical strategies with our community. During submission, you can choose to be considered for Data Center World Power, Data Center World Europe, or both.

Each program is curated independently by its advisory board and the Data Center World content team, with a focus on vendor-neutral, experience-based sessions that help attendees solve immediate data center operational and power challenges.

Sample Topics We're Seeking to Cover

Here are some core topics and themes we're looking to cover in our 2026 program. This list isn't all-inclusive, and we encourage speakers to propose additional ideas that serve the data center power community. We want to challenge and stretch our community's thinking, so we welcome innovative perspectives and emerging technologies, even if they're not yet widely adopted.

  • Power procurement trends for hyperscale and colocation data centers
  • Grid modernization, utility relationships and collaboration
  • Microgrids, on-site generation, behind-the-meter power solutions and energy storage (including renewables, Small Modular Reactors, Battery Energy Storage Systems etc...)
  • Power density, scalability, and extreme cooling challenges
  • AI-driven energy efficiency and automation
  • Power markets, policy and regulatory landscape
  • Data center sustainability, climate adaptation strategies and circular design
  • Geographic diversification and expansion strategies

  • Can engage an audience with educational, insightful, and market-focused content.
  • Fills the session with real-life stories and insights. Sessions built around case studies, examples of successes and failures, and provocative ideas that promote dialogue are the most well-attended and highest-rated.
  • Understands that session learnings must deliver actions and concepts that attendees can implement in their work.
  • Is comfortable speaking in front of large groups ranging from 50 to 500 people.
  • Is willing to partner with Data Center World to deliver the best possible experience for the audience.
